MAD 5k Run & One Mile Walk

Description: All race proceeds will benefit Madison High School Track & Field
RACE INFORMATION:
5k (3.1 miles) course is a gently rolling course with every mile marked. Finish is on the track.
One mile fun run/walk is 2 loops around the school building. Runners and walkers are welcome in each race. No baby strollers, bikes, roller blades, pets! Headphones are discouraged, but allowed! Refreshments will be provided at the finish of the race.
Come dressed to run. Toilet facilities will be available. Awards ceremony will be held in the area near the concession stand.
From the beltway: Take I-66 west, exit onto Nutley St. North, left at Maple Ave, right onto James Madison Drive (just after the Shell station). Drive around the school and park in the back by the trailers.
From the west: Take I-66 east to Rt. 123 North. Make a left onto Flint Hill Rd. and right onto Sunrise (if you get to Flint Hill Elementary School, you missed the turn). Participants should park near the trailers at the back of the school.
Awards: Overall awards will be presented to the top 3 males and females in the 5k. Age group awards will be presented in the 5k as follows: Top 3 boys and girls 10 & under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18. Top 3 men and women in the following age groups: 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. No duplicate awards. All finishers in the one mile walk will receive ribbons. Race results will be posted on www.warhawksports.org on the Outdoor track and field team page.
