COURSE: Mostly flat, mostly shady suburban bike trails and streets thru Arlington Heights and Penrose neighborhoods
AWARDS: In the 5K run: Prizes courtesy of RUNNERS WORLD for TOP THREE MALE AND FEMALE, plus TOP THREE MALE AND FEMALE BY 10-YEAR AGE-GROUP. In the 2.5K walk, FIRST MALE AND FEMALE.. Tchotckes (small prizes or gift certificates) for EVERY other finisher.
TO BENEFIT: Arlington-Fairfax Jewish Congregation's Scholarship Fund. -- Help send kids to summer camps!
RESULTS: Immediately after the last finisher. Note: we will have a mekhitza at the finish line.
DIRECTIONS: From DC or Beltway (I-495), take
Arlington Blvd (Route 50) to Garfield (between Fillmore and Irving).
Free parking.
From Clarendon Metro Station, take Highland Street one mile due south
to Route 50. Cross at stoplight at either Fillmore or Irving.
TEAMS: Members of any club or shul may form a team. We will have a prize for the team WITH THE MOST TOTAL ENTRANTS.
