Join the local running community in responding to the tragic events of September 11. Raise funds for relief efforts. Defy terrorism by running past the national monuments. Last year, this race raised over $8,000 for three 9/11 related charities.
Course: A flat, fast course which marks the reopening of Hains Point. USATF Certified Course # DC-01037-RT.
Entry Fees: $18 if postmarked by November 1, $20 thereafter. Or register on-line at www.racepacket.com
Prizes: Top three overall and in ten-year age groups. Commemorative T-Shirts to all participants. Pizza after the race.

Team Competition: Up to 5 runners on a team, with the top
three runners scoring. You do not have to register at the same time, but each team captain will be asked to fill out a team roster sheet before the race
and then add times to the sheet after the race. There are separate competitions for male and female teams. A number of running clubs have indicated that they will enter teams.
Directions: From VA, take Memorial Bridge and bear right toward Independence Ave. Cross
Independence and proceed south on Ohio Drive. Park along Ohio Drive or if no spaces are available, try the lots off of Ohio Drive between the
various spans of the 14th Street Bridge. Registration is just south of the backstop of Ball Field #7, which is the first ball field south of the
Lincoln Memorial and Independence Ave. Map
