Washington, DC Chapter of the ROCKS, Inc.

The Washington,
DC Chapter of the ROCKS, Inc. is a 501(c)(19) non-profit organization
whose membership is comprised of officers of the U.S. Armed Forces. It
provides mentoring and professional career development to its members
and leadership outreach to ROTC students and others in
pre-commissioning programs.

| Location: |
Beautiful and scenic Burke Lake Park (7315 Ox
Road, Fairfax Station, VA). Start and finish near the ice cream parlor.
The USA Track and Field Certified course (#VA9120RT) begins and ends on
a running trail over challenging and fun foot terrain with a beautiful
view of Burke Lake. The walking route is 2 miles over a paved surface. |

Race proceeds go to the Roscoe Cartwright
Scholarship Fund (Tax Exempt 501(c)(19)) which provides financial
scholarships to college students enrolled in the Army, Navy, Air Force
and Marine Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). |

Rock DC Chapter Members: Pre-registration (by
September 7) is $20. After September 7, registration is $25.
Non-members: Pre-registration (by September
7) is $25.
After September 7,
registration is $30.
All kids 15 & under: Pre-registration
(by September 7) is $15. After September 7, registration is $20. |
| Awards: |
Top three overall male and female finishers. Top
three finishers in the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29,
30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. Top male and female walkers.
The awards ceremony will be held at the completion of the race near the
finish line.

Beltway exit 54A. Proceed west on Braddock Road; turn left on
Burke Lake Road (Rt. 645); proceed five miles and turn left on Ox Road
(Rt. 123), to park entrance on left, just past the golf course
