On a cool morning that saw most participants wearing gloves, we had a large
turnout for our annual race, helped by the fact we had the only race listed in
the Washington Post. Our 12th guy came all the way from Bangkok, Thailand. All
were treated with a Christmas ornament and a candy cane. The age group and
overall winners received Christmas mugs. Our faithful team of experienced
volunteers allowed the race to go off with the only hitch was that the guy
handing out numbered finish cards stuck in a few that were not numbered. We want
to thank Sharon Good, Kate DeAngelis, Carla Convery, Don Riggs, Toni Letaw, and
Mark Adams for their jobs well done. The results are:
