It was rainy and cold. Weekly director, Len Guralnick, and race lead, Jim Carbary,
felt a little guilty about sitting in the nice warm car reconciling results while volunteers,
Julie Trapp and Bill Arbelaez braved the elements. The Carter family dominated the field with
6 family members participating. Kevin Carter won the race easily. Fifty-nine year old Dad,
Dick Carter, ran an impressive 23:21. Kerrie Bowes won the women's race. Proceeds of the
race were for the benefit of the Junior Striders.
