PARIS CABALLERO flew to the lead, followed closely by ANTONIO MOLINA.
Both runners ended up missing a turn or turning on a straightaway. CABALLERO
cut some of the course, while MOLINA ran a little long. Caballero and Molina rapidly developed a large lead over the rest of the pack. Last year's winner
TED
POULOS finished third. MOLINA was awarded first place and as he was
returning to Colorado, handed his prize, an complementary entry to the
St.
Patrick's Day 10K on March 12.
ELIZABETH SADOFF won for the women. A
third race entry went to JON "Las Vegas" PALKS. At each of the five straightaway
road crossing runners were handed a
playing card. PALKS had a full house -
Aces over Queens.
