The Washington Running Club, which had won in many prior years, returned for another victory. The "Stelbillskins" wore three football team jerseys when claiming their medals.
Three person teams competed in the following Categories: Coed (C), Open Men (OM), Master Men (MM), Open Women (OW) and Master Women (MW). The top three teams in each category received medals.
The three legs were 9.7, 7.3 and 9.2 miles long.
