Mild winter weather encouraged 107 finishers. Audrey Ting broke the
previous course record by a big margin in the 10K race today. The previous
record was held by Julie Thienel (40:57). Fifty year old, Jim Clelland, led
the pack in the 2M event, with 16 year old, Del'Vaughn Rooks very close
behind. Heidi Swarts won the women's 2M race with her 3rd place overall
finish. Luis Diaz was the overall 10K winner. Karsten Brown and Vanessa
Cox won the 15K. Training partners, Mike Dee and Matt Groom pulled up the
back of the pack in the 15K event as they improve their times while training
for their 8th marathon.
