The 2003 Women's distance Festival Celebrates Women's Distance Running

Location: Paint Branch Stream Valley Park to Lake Artemesia. Race Starts at 94th Aerosquadron Restaurant, 5240 Paint Branch Pkwy, College Park.

Entry Fee: $13 pre-registrered; $15 raced day. Early bird special $10 before August 1 ($1 race day discount for PGRC members)

Awards: Awards to top three finishers overall, top three masters (40+), and top three in each age group (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) T-shirts for all runners. Random prizes. Refreshments for everyone.

at 8;45 a.m. on same 5K course
No T-shirt option; $5 entry fee.

Course: Flat, fast course through Paint Branch Stream Valley Park, looping around Lake Artemesia. For the safety of all runners, no strollers, baby joggers, pets, or headphones are permitted in the race.

Directions: From Capital Beltway, take exit #23, Keniworth Ave. South. Go about two miles; turn right on Paint Branch Parkway. Entrance to 94th Areosquadron Restaurant approximately one-fourth mile on right.

Registration Information: Pre-register by mail or register on race day from 7:00 to 7:45 A.M.
