Bob Ingegneri has been steadily moving up in Tidal Basin races, and today he won, ahead of perennial champ Ted Poulos. Amber Simco outnipped Cindy Cohen for first place among women.
A stiff wind and high waters on the Tidal Basin forced us to re-route to the alternate course on Ohio Drive.
John Winkert served as race director, then ran on his own after everyone else finished.
Next race: Wednesday, February 15, 2006
