  • Tidal Basin Run, a partner of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, hosted its holiday run on Columbus Day to celebrate discovery on USATF-certified course DC04001RT with appropriate modifcations.
  • Ted Poulos won the 1500m and the 3000m, as always, but Mike Cannon took a good shot, finishing behind him.
  • Kathryn Silvestri ran her first-ever races, outkicking Paige Poulos in the 1500m and winning the 5K overall.
  • Karsten Brown topped the 10K, illuminating Bill Stahr who finished with Jay Jacob Wind at his back.
  • We all missed John Way, who normally runs the 15K but is recovering from a not-so-humerus broken arm.
