Tidal Basin Run celebrates Independence Day

  • Tidal Basin Run, a partner of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, hosted Presidential Fitness Runs in honor of Independence Day.
  • Peter Blank won the 1500m, just ahead of Cindy Cohen
  • John Way and Dee Nelson led the 3000m.
  • Justin Hattan and his father Greg Hattan shared the win in the 5000m, with Cindy Cohen first among women.
  • Kevin Brady and Eric Johnston were the two 10K runners.
  • We thank all participants and volunteers.
