  • Before the race, we had our annual elections Meeting
  • we held our annual meeting and elected our 2024 officers and directors: Jay Jacob Wind, president; Bob Platt, vice-president; Jim Mort, secretary; James Scarborough, treasurer; Robert Weiner, director. (Robert and Jim agree to switch positions after the meeting, and I agreed.)
  • Terry McLaughlin won both the 1500m and the 3000m, and Kam Yee won the 5000m.
  • Next free monthly runs: Bluemont Park, Arlington VA, at 12:00 noon:
  • Tidal Basin Run presents New Year's Eve Eve Races on Saturday, December 30, at 3:00 PM at Glebe Park, 4211 Old Glebe Road - registration opens 2:30 PM, 1500m 1500m at 3:15 PM; and 3000m, 5000m, 8000m at 3:30 PM
  • $5.00 for Tidal Basin Run members, $10.00 for non-members -- bring a gift item to share, and no one will go home empty-handed!
