Fleet Feet Sports, Gaithersburg to Host "Tiki Night" Charity Benefit on August 10, 2012 for Kentlands/Lakelands 5K

Fleet Feet Sports, Gaithersburg is proud to be a long-time sponsor and exclusive running store training partner of the Kentlands/Lakelands 5K Race organized by the Kentlands Community Foundation. As part of our annual sponsorship, we host a silent auction fundraiser at our store. This year, our silent auction charity benefit takes on new life as a Tiki Night.

Many local businesses get involved to help with this annual fundraiser. This year, attendees will enjoy wine and appetizers from Bonefish Grill, dessert from Not Your Average Joes, paraffin treatments from Profiles Salon, Trigger Point Therapy demonstrations, and tiki bar beverages, not to mention access to dozens of silent auction items, prizes for hula hoop and limbo contests, and more. Every attendee will also go home with a gift bag valued at more than $40, which includes a pair of Swiftwick technical socks.

Robyn Gault, co-owner of Fleet Feet Sports, Gaithersburg, explains, "This 5K race is in our backyard and does a lot of good in the community raising money for City camp scholarships and other worthwhile local causes. We're happy to help and love doing this every year. We have fun with it." Co-owner Chris Gault adds, "You can't beat the ticket price - we throw a great party with giveaways, great drinks and food for $15 per person, every penny of which goes to the Foundation."
